storage location in PR

Dear Gur's,

My requiremnt is .......at time of creation of PR storage location should be picked from the MMR.

Is it possible through customization in MM ?

Diff dept means diff functionalities/ divisions and not diff plants......anyways I got ur call......so may do u know any exit or something for ABAP development.

No User Exit & neither ABAP development will help you in this matter.

You can use Personal Settings in PR and PO for each user/department.

There define your defaults for each specific users and hence everytime that will be defaulted, whether to change or not is then upto user.

in MMR you can use only one SL per material ,

but as per you there are different Sl for one material

then let me know how you gonna manage this ?????

if you want Sl to be mandetory then add this in MMR in mrp view or make the default screen layout per user in ME51N

better make the field mandetory in ME51n and then let user decide which SL to be added

Is your diff dept. means different Plants?

If yes then you can achieve your requirement, If no then not possible.

Try to make the storage location field as mandatory using screen selection ME51N in customizing .

Hi,

No need to maintain through customization,

you can achieve it through maintaining storage location in MRP2 view Storage locaiton for external procurement field.

Which picks up in both PR & PO as default which you can change also.
