Hi
I am currently working in a business that uses a SAP r/3 system, and have touched upon basic SAP config, reporting, and a little ABAP.
We are going to soon adopt the SAP enterprise?? and a portal, and so I want to start learning as much as I can before this happens.
Can anyone point me in the direction of maybe some demos? tutorials? sample code etc? I have some experience with HTML and Java, but I have no idea where to start when it comes to SAP...
I've tried searching the forums and the downloads section - but I really have no idea about where to start.
Thanks.
James
James, you may want to look at the "Events" section of SDN, and avail yourself to some of the TechEd '04 materials that were presented in San Diego, particularly around NetWeaver ( Portal, BI, WebAS, etc. ) and how they support mySAP ERP.
There are also Java and ABAP courses that support mySAP ERP from a "behind the scenes" detail.
Also, the "NetWeaver for Dummies" book is an excellent introduction to such topics. Let me know how your search goes!..( btw, the latest ASUG was chocked full of presentations you may be interested in, if your company is and ASUG memeber, you can go to ASUG.com for the proceedings.). Ciao Kim
