Hi,
I am getting this error when i am trying to validate an RFC connection between a R/3 system and an XI system.
(R/3->Xi->R/3)(following the scenario that was presented in the SDN)
I haven't found any service in the J2EE engine with the name "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api" do anybody have any idea of what this error could be.
I have checked my sender communication channel configuration and the receiver channel configuration, everything seems to be right, but whenever i execute the STFC_CONNECTION in se37 it gives me this error
Thanks in advance,
srinivas
Hi Srinivas,
Refer to this OSS note:730870. There are few reasons why this exception can occur.
Also just copy and paste the whole error that you are encountering so that i can help you

Hi Sridhar,
Thanks for your reply...i have looked at the note but it didn't help me. It asked me to change the messagesynch response time, so i tried to change it but in vain.
when ever i was trying to execute the function STFC_CONNECTION in the R/3 system it was throwing me an error saying "connection to system failed and com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException
And as such i am not able to see com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api in J2EE engine as a service. I tested the RFC connection in the R/3 system ...it was working fine.
Hi Srinivas,
1.Check your authorization settings in XI and R/3. Whether the user has sufficient rights to execute the Function Module etc. This is the most common reason for this error.
2.If the XI system was brought online even before the R/3 system then re-activate the communication channels from the Integration directory.
Regards,
Sridhar
