Alter posting date of A/P InvoiceI

I want to alter the posting date of A/P Invoice.The A/P Invoice is added and its posting date is locked. If I change the date through database i.e. OPCH table, what will be its impact ? Is this correct way of using SAP Business One ?

Hi,

It is not advisable and not recommended to alter the values using the Update queries. The database can become inconsistent and you can loose SAP Support for the database.

Since, Invoices are legal documents, alteration for fields in the marketing document is not made available.

Posting date has impact on the entries in various other associated tables. Updating can cause further inconsistency in the database with regards to Stock, Reporting etc.
