It is fairly simple, 10-15 minutes for testing purposes.

Assuming all 5 iviews have different content, and working properly.

1- Create 2 roles, one for each user;

Goto Content Admin> Portal content>> Portal User>>> Right Click on Standard Portal User>>> select New role, fill in the info for Role1, save, (then Role2 inthe same fashion).

2- Create 2 pages; one for each user;

Goto Content Admin> Portal content>> Right-Click on Portal Content, select New Page, fill in the info and save for Page1 (then for page 2).

3- Assign content (iviews) to each page.

Right-Click on the page you just created, select Open Object. Goto the iview, Right-Click select Add Iview to Page (DeltaLink, so that any future iview modifiaction will be inherited into the page). you'll see the addtion to the page list. similarly repeat the procrss for other iview and the other page. you can modify page layout accordingly. Make sure you save.

4- Assign Pages to Role. (for the sake of this excerise; One page for each Role)

Open Content Admin> Portal content>> goto the Role (you just createdin step 1)>>> Right-Click select Open Object>>>

Then goto the Page (you just createdin step 2)>>>> Right-Click select Add Page to Role (as DeltaLink).

5- Assign Roles to Users.

Goto User Admin tab> Roles>> Edit the intended Role>>>

in the User/Group Assignment lower pane, open the dropdown box, select users and hit Start (search), you should get a list of ALL users, Check and Add the user you need, Make sure you hit SAVE on the left side on the screen.

I hope this summery will give a head start demo. It can be more complicated, but with detailed planning you can achieve your NAVIGATION/Content goals. I have a guided document with images, but could upload the SDN, send me your EMail, I'll email you a copy.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your valuable information. I was done all the steps that you’ve given… But I’ve not got the iviews to the appropriate user names…(E.g.when I login as user1 it just shows only the username). it’s not showing the iviews assigned to that user…please send me the screen shots also. It’s very urgent…

Expecting your reply..

Thanks and Regards,

Hi

You have to make the Entry Point of the iviews set to true inorder to get it displayed on login..

Entry point is a property of the iview...Try this it will work..

Cheers
