BPC Drillthrough

Hi All

Quick question, got drillthrough working however when the drill though data is brought back in Excel all fields are right aligned and header row is coloured in. Is there a way of getting to the template that Excel uses to display the drill through data and change it in some way ? i.e. change the row alignment etc

    Hi Justin,

I don't think you can create a template to use directly for drill though, but you can modify after the excel or create a template and copy/paste on it just the values.

    Kind regards

    Hi Roberto

I accept that you can change the format post drillthrough, what I am trying to find is that when it does the drillthrough ... what template is BPC using to output the data. If you bring back data using MS Query in Excel, no formatting is applied however when BPC does it there is formatting applied i.e. all columns are right justified

    • Hi Justin,

the formatting is very simple, I guess you wouldn't find a template, I think that is a BPC program that execute the query and returns the data applying this simple cell formatting, so if you don't want this rough excel, you must write outside BPC your drill through program with a well formatted worksheet or applying it after ...

      Kind regards
