Hey Guy's
As a long time Solution Manager (Technical) user, I have always used DSWP to generate my stacks, now with "Workcenter" in place this is no longer a valid tcode any longer for DSWP.
Is there an FAQ or a SAP Help link that would outline the required steps in the new process now? or anyone that can lay out the steps for me?
Thanks a lot
Detailed information available in following link under "Learning Map for Maintenacne Management"

Hi,
Would recommend you to check the link http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman -> Solution Manager 7.1
Has explanation for all the activities including System Preparation and Basic Configuration of the Solution Manager.
Complete these two activities first, as they would setup your system to use MOPZ functionality.
Check the RKT link for generating stack XML for systems' patching.

Hi,
Process is-
You need to define your system in SLD of solman and sync SLD with LMDB. It will create entries in SMSY for your system. Then add all required relevant instance manually in SMSY in your system definition. Assign your system to logical system.
Go to solman_workcenter - Solution Manager Administration. Create Solution there and assign your logical system to this solution. Then you can go to solman_workcenter again then Change request management - Maintenance Optimizer and can download packages and stack xml file.
Thanks
Sunny
