Are there are issues with using the U (Berkely LPD) method on Windows 2008?

Hi

We are planning on moving our SAP printers from where they are currently (a number of Wintel printer servers on different sites, some of which will be Windows 2000 servers, Windows NT and others) to a centralised Windows 2008 printer server.

We are using method 'U' for all of these printers, i.e. Berkley/SAPLPD.

Does this still work okay on Windows 2008 printer servers / are there any known issues?

We DON'T want to use the S method /sprint (for reasons I won't go into here).

Thanks!

Ross
