How to Capture SERVICE master data?

Hi,

How do we capture Service master data?

I can see that there is a Master Data for MATERIALS, and the workbooks cature MATERIAL info. Is this supposed to be used to capture SERVICES as well? (Would it therefore be better named 'Products' instead of Materials)?

The only other way I can think of is to simply capture the Service internal category groups (Product Hierachy) and stop at this level without defining the actual service item?

Please advise ASAP as need to advise customer
