SAP upgrade to 8.8

I am trying to upgrade my version from SAP 2007A SP:01 PL:08 to SAP 8.8 PL:12

when i am click on upgrade.exe when it comes to select common database and company database it is grayed out. Can someone help me out why this his happening and how can i upgrade all my company database to 8.8

Hi Bruno....

Try this....

Take Backup of Database which is Greyed out and Dettach it. Login to SAP and refresh. Then go to SQL and then attach the same DB and then go to SAP and Again refresh the company List. And then try to run Upgrade........

Hi Bruno,

Try running the upgrade with the network cable unplug, this is to ensure noone is connected to the database. Also i would restart the server before running the upgrade again.

Hi Bruno !

The upgrade is not possible for components located on a remote server. Make sure this is not the case.
