Regarding Asset usage in Exsting eqipments

Hi Sir,

While we are creating Equipment, we'll select Asset no:- in Organization Tab,

What does it do exactly do, for creating new Equipment system will generate no:-automatically

for Internal, for existing Equipment we need to upload manually with some alfanumuaric code.

But based on usage asset value is decrease, then how it will impact to equipment cost,

Regarding how the importance of Asset usage in PM, kindly give me valuable suggestion to me sir?

    Hi Bujji,

    the Asset No provided in the Organization is used in the Settlement of the maintenance orders if you have Assets as the cost Recievers then you can assign the Asset in the Equipment Master.

    at the same time you have to maintain the Assets as the cost recievers also.

      Hi Bujji,

      If we take the over view then we can have a generalised statement that there is no direct relation of PM with FI but PM have a direct integration with CO, as at the time of settlement generally we use Cost Centers(As recievers), we can even use GL account but, GL Account is maintained at the higher level(Company Code), due to which it is avoided.
