SAP mail user partner

Hi

In a material document I would like to sent out an email to the email mentioned in the SAP usermaster. If I choose medium 7 (Simple mail) it is just sent to the SAP inbox. Instead I'm using medium 5 (external send) but which partner function should I choose in order to sent the mail to the email address mentioned in the user master. If I choose partner function MP and insert the sap user in the partner field it is still just sent to the SAP inbox.

If I insert and email directly in hte partner field I can actually see that and email is created in SOST but the email address only contains the first 10 characters of the email address...

the only email that can be send from a material document is to the buyer if the option "GR Message" is flagged in the Purchase Order and an E-Mail address is maintained in the Purchasing Group.
