IT 581 not taking end date except 31.12.9999

start date is 01.04.2012

If end date is 31.07.2012

System not considering date before 31.12.9999.

System showing following error-

End date before leaving date (31.12.9999)

Message no. PG211

Diagnosis

The end date entered falls before the employee's leaving date (31.12.9999).

The infotype has time constraint 1. This means that it must always be available during the employee's activity (employment status other than 0)

System Response

The infotype operation cannot be carried out.

Procedure

Control the validity period of the infotype record currently being processed and the employee's employment status in the Actions (0000) infotype for this period.

Start Date of Infotype IT0581 will be hire date of finacial year start date and end date can be delimited at the time of Termination.You should able to delimit this record at the time of leaving.Kindly Test It

This is not termination case. this is new roll out time.

why do want to change the end date in IT0581 unless the employee is terminated .I dont think system will allow to do that as thsi IT is attached with TC1

No system is allowing for other personnel area .

Dear Sarika,

Info-type 0581 works as the start date as the hiring date or the date your are opting for HRA exception with the end date as 31.12.9999. When you create another record from a particular date it will delimit the old record and create a new record from that date to end date 31.12.9999.

It is not different for different PSA, might be there is another record which will be valid after the end date you are trying to give. But the end date will always be 31.12.9999 till the record is delimited or the person is terminated.

If the scenario is not consider the employee for HRA exemption , you want to delimit the IT0581, please make the accommodation type as own accommodation .

By doing this tax exemption will not happen..

Create 581 of one emp. from 01.04.2012 -31.07.2012.

from 31.07.2012 IT 584 Subtype 0001 has to be maintained from same empl.

How it will be created.

Then from 31.07.2012 as sujith said you have to maintain Info-type 0581 as own accommodation and update IT0584 from the said date.

From 01.04.2012 -31.07.2012 IT0581 Rented accommodation and from 01082012 it should be Own Accommodation.

First Create one record in IT0581 as rented accommodation from 01.04.2012 -31.12-9999 save it. Then copy the IT0581 give 01-08-2012 as the start date and maintain accommodation type as own accommodation end date will be 31-12-9999 .

By doing this system will delimit the first record.

Then you create IT0584 with the house property details , it will be for a financial year.

if we want to maintain start date of IT 581 31.07.2012 and end date 30.08.2012. how it can be maintained

If IT 581 is copy and i mention end date 01.02.2012 maintained accommodation type as own accommodation type . system will automatically maintain new record and rent amount same previous amount. we have to maintain IT 581 For 6 months then next 6 months we will maintain IT 584.
