migration of SAP EP 6.0 SP9 with SAP EP 5.0 SP4

hi,

my application is running on SAP EP5 and i want to migrate to EP6.I searched in google regarding this i found that there are some tools for migration ,can any one can help me out where can i get this tools from .

To get to EP6 on Netweaver you have to be on EP5 SP6 and you have to migrate to a new SP9 system (somtimes also called SR1). Here is the specific detail:

EP 5.0 -> EP 6.0 on WebAS 6.40

source system Portal Platform: EP5 SP6 Patch 1

source system KM: EP5 SP6 P1 HF 10 or higher

target system: EP 6.0 on WebAS 6.40, SP Stack 09, newest SP9 patch.

You can find the migration tools on the sap service marketplace. Here is the path:

http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Download -> Support Package and Patches -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NetWeaver 04 -> EP Migration Choose the EP5.

To get the migration guide go to http://service.sap.com/nw-howtoguides. In the navigation panel, choose Portal, KM, Collaboration. then in the center window, expand the "ALL" entry. You will find the migration guides there.
