No quantity could be derived from item 00001 in T_OIGISVMQ

Hi,

I get following error while actualizing the ticket:

No quantity could be derived from item 00001 in T_OIGISVMQ.

Message class : O9, Message no. : 868.

I saw a thread : http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1440255

But this did not help much.

I crreated a backend PO and created a nomination for this PO. Later created a ticket for this nomination.

But then this error happens after the shipping notification is created.

The strange thing is: This error has started showing up all of a sudden! I have already created several tickets folowing the same procedure but hen this error did not occur!

Has anyone faced this problem before?

Thanks & Regards,

Kamini

Hi,

This seems to be relating to the shipment. While ticketing a stock transfer, for example, the system is able to do a reservation and create a shipment; but while attaching the reservation & vehicle, the shipment quantity is not getting allocated. Compartment planning is not happening. hence the system is unable to complete the shipment document which I guess is posted to the table OIGISVMQ. I am getting the same error, but yet to resolve. But I feel the crux of the issue relates to the shipment - document & vehicle and quantity allocation.

Jay

Hi Jaykrishnan,

You are right in your assumption that the error happens while allocation.

In my case the purchase order had a different plant than the nomination. And the plant in nomination gets defaulted based on the vehicle (pipeline, truck, ship) used for transportation. The purchase was happening in transit in nomination.

So, while creating the ticket the plant in nomination was used for the quantity allocation, but then the expected quantity was to be stored in a different plant from the PO. This lead to the error.

Now, the problem is solved for me, as I have to make sure that the plant in PO and nomination are same as the purchase happens in transit.

Hope this is helpful to you as well.

Hello All,

I am getting same error you are getting earlier. My scenario is same the only difference is i did pegging between 2 nominations. Now, when i create ticket for 1st nomination, the Delivery and TD shipment created and then the error "No quantity could be derived from item 00001 in T_OIGISVMQ"

generated. I am not able to figure it out why this errors come.

Hi Yogesh,

Try to check if the error comes because of plant difference.

Hello Kamini,

Thanks for response. I am executing the STO Scenario and the Qty is 60,000 which should be load onto Vehicle having 5 compartment with different capacities.

If there is different plant then what will be the solution for that ?

Hi Yogesh,

I am not sure how to cope this scenario then.

Hi,

Please check the Vehicle Capacity, Shipment Volume, any shipment lying there with the quantity in the Vehicle.

Dear All,

I have gone through the problems through debugging and found that if there is no stock then this error will occur. So, if the stock available then this problem will not come.

Thanks all.
