Initial stock entry in a warehouse

Hi,

Is there a way to directly do a initial stock entry to a warehouse?

Mike we do MB1C in IM, is there something in WM?

Please advice.

For initial Stock Entry, you need to tell where exactly do u want to put the stocks into.

For that, u would require a transfer order.

When u do MB1C, stocks go to Interim Storage Area 998. U need to create Transfer Order using TCode LT01 and specify the destination bin there.

Hi,

The correct procedure is using MB1C. Then you can change de storage location in WM doing an stock transport. In standar procedure stock goes to 998 storage type.

If the location is warehouse managed location then when you do 561 it will automatically upate the stock both inventory and wm level.

If some thing mismatch between IM and WM then you need to carry out Physical inventory at arehouse level to match the stock.
