Hey Arvind,

how are you?

The term "Uploading file" is not clear!!

1.Do you mean, archiving the file on ECC after your file adapter picks it?

2.Are you using another ECC system at source side also?

3.you want to upload IDoc Flatfile directly onto ECC?

Thanks,

VK

My requirement is to capture the messages into two different folders in ECC. One folder is for sucseeful messages and another is for capturing the error messages(unsuccessful). This requirement is one kind of error log concept.

Whether any mechanism is there to capture the messages into two different folders in ECC system for capturing successful messages and unsuccesful messages . I'm using PI 7.3 single stack java only

Plz let me know if any body have an idea about this kind of requirement.

Hi,

You said your scenario is: File -> PI -> ECC (Idoc).

So which file you want to "upload" in ECC ? (store ?)

Is it because you want to archive this source file in ECC server in addition of the sending Idoc ?

if yes, then:

1st: I don't think it's a good idea, it's better to have a shared file server which is mount to ECC (AL11), via NFS (for instance). See with your admin, coz it's a matter of space disk allocated to ECC.

2nd: as your source file arrives from another file server, you are not able to use the archive option in sender CC, because you can only (in standard) use an archive folder on the same server (same hostname).

Before to detail a solution, what's exactly your requirement?
