Authorisation group can be used as an authorisation object as per our criteria & requirement apart from planner group(which is also an authorisation object). Authorisation group is available in FL, equipment, Maint. Plan, Measuring point, Measuring point list(IK31). For authorisation control for creating measuring document, one can do it through authorisation group assigned ti entry list as there are no other group objects are available. If you wants to further devide the authorisation of technical object below plannr grooup then you can create authorisation group accordingly.

Planner groups represents broadly diffrent planners such as mechanical/electrical/instrumentation sections

1. for creation of planner group--

SPRO > PM&CS>Master data in PM and CS-->Technical Objects >General data>Define Planner Groups

Authorisation group can be created via-

2. SPRO > PM&CS>Master data in PM and CS>Technical Objects>General data-->Define Authorization Groups

Hi,

Three different ways of doing it:

1) To create table auth groups: SE54-->Select 'Authorization

Groups'>Create/Change>New Entries.

2) To assign an auth group to a table: SE54-->Select 'Assign

Authorization Groups'>Create/Change>Select 'Table Name' check

box-->Enter Table Name. You can also maintain TDDAT instead.

3) To assign the auth group to a role: Go into PFCG edit mode, enter

authorization object S_TABU_DIS with the auth group created in step 1.

i think it will be helpful.
