cost element in copa

Hi,

From FI, surely has cost element. from allocation, either primary or secondary cost element. Both, also have cost element created in copa line.

May I know if I can have posting to copa without cost element? If yes, how to post to copa without cost element and what is the effect if without cost element in copa line.
