    Hi,

Just a short explanation of error RSDMD218, As you surely know master data records exist in

A-Version (active records) and M-Version (modified records). This version is stored in column OBJVERS of each master data table.

If a master data record is written into the table and there is already

an active version of the corresponding key then the new record will

first be written in modified version and during activation the active

one is deleted and the modified one will be transformed to the active

    record.

Hence, during master data update for the given InfoObject key (charac.value + compounds) there are active and modified records in the table which requires the database table key to consist of the InfoObject key

    and the OBJVERS field.

If now the SQL statement (writing a new record into the master data

table) fails then this operation is tried a second time and if this

also fails then error message RSDMD 218 is raised.

    Thanks,

    Venkat
