Hi Veda,

Why don't you use one IO 0CALMONTH and load your data in one cycle:

    DATA MONTH

    100 200501

    200 200502

    300 200503

    etc?

    Best regards,

    Eugene

    veda,

    you have two options:

JAN FEB Mar Apr May Jun July Aug Sapt oct Nov Dec

    100 200 300 400 500 600 700 800 1000 1002 10012 945

    100 200 300 400 500 600 700 800 1000 1002 10012 945

    100 200 300 400 500 600 700 800 1000 1002 10012 945

if you want the result in this way you must create 12 infoobject.

if you want to use only a infoobject you must generate for only record 12 records with a result table in start routine of transfer structure

    gen 100

    feb 200

    mar 300 i.e

    alessandro

    Hi Veda,

Before I give my answer, What are the figures stands for? Are they sales per Article on a given month? For January with 3 X 100, does it mean that keyfigure = 300?

I think the best way is to create only ONE Info Object for the Calendar Month. These keyfigures can be summarized easily in the query if you only have one Info Object to contain it.

If you can revise the Flat File to be like this:

    Month Value

    -

    -

    Jan - 100

    Jan - 100

    Jan - 100

    Feb - 200

    Feb - 200

    Feb - 200

    Mar - 300

    Mar - 300

    Mar - 300

    Dec - 945

    Dec - 945

    Dec - 945

This will be the optimum approach...

You will have to transform your data. One place to do it is the start routine of an update rule.
