synchronization is not working ,Android with SUP 2.1 ESd#1

Hi,

I am follow the tutorial for Developer Guide: Android Object API Applications,Sybase Unwired Platform 2.1 ESD #1.

i have added a device in SCC, device showing online and in the Android Emulator (version 2.2) i have put the settings as described . while synchronization with Server that time showing some error..

01-24 17:45:17.469: E/AndroidRuntime(9343): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.arteriatech.supSyncTest/com.arteriatech.supSyncTest.SUP_SyncTesMain}: com.sybase.persistence.PersistenceException: The application connection doesn't match with the application id

Please let me know the solution.

    Hi Prem,

    Are you sure you device is subscribed under the correct Security Configuration which contains you app package?

    I'm assuming that this is a custom application that you have built? If so make sure that you are using the same version of the generated code as you have deployed to the sever. The SUP Persistence exception is common if you are using old generated code when a new model for example.

    If, per change, you are doing a HWC app then make sure you have the latest version of the Sybase HWC app for android.

    Hi,

    Even i am facing the same problem.. I think i have messed up somewhere with the connection properties although it is showing online on SCC. Does any one have the guide / steps to connect and authenticate using relayserver?? Please share

      Hi Sujith,

      Yes the relay server is configured and is running properly as seen in the SCC.. Still not able to..Kindly suggest

    Hi Premchand,

    Try deleting the Android AVD (say version 2.2) on which you are running your app.

    Then create a new AVD and try running your app on that AVD.
