Sales Order Item Creation using Data workbench

Dear All,

When importing the products into the sales order using the sales order item node in data workbench,there is no field to capture the Item externalkey. However we can upload the item into the sales order.

But when we try to upload the price using the Sales Order Item Total Values Pricing Subtotal Node template,system is asking to enter the Item external key.

This message ExternalKey, does not exist for Sales Order Item. It has been generated, because the Item External Key has not yet been imported to the system.

The Item ExternalKey requested from Data Workbench is actually the ExternalKey column from the Sales Order Item template.

This information should be imported to the system with the same value from ItemExternalKey that you are using to Import in Item Total Values Pricing Subtotal Collection template.

So please first import the Sales Order Items with their respective ExternalKey values and save these values in a document for future reference for whenever you need to update other aspects of Items, like Item Total Values Pricing Subtotal Collection.

ExternalKey here can be anything. It is required to be able to link the Item node.
