MAP with subcontracting

Dear experts,

I have an issue at my current client.

Background information:

1. Our client valuates all materials based on MAP.

2. There's an assembly process designed based on the subcontracting flow: meaning all components are linked as components against the assembled product. This is a free of charge service (FoC ticked).

Problem:

My client also wants to do disassemble the assembled product, meaning that the assembled product will be taken apart and separated into multiple components. Currently this is designed as another subcontracting order

Example:

Article A is an assembled product, consisting of 1 x B and 1 x C.

Subcontracting order:

LIne 10: article B, item category L and as components article A; Free of charge is ticked

Line 20: article C, item category ' ' and no components, free of charge is ticked

--> the problem with this solution is that the MAP of both components B and C get updated incorrectly (B will become too high due to the value of the assembled product and C will be too low because this receipt has no value)

So what I'm looking for are 2 things:

1. Can the subcontracting flow be configured in such a way that the MAP is updated correctly (or not at all)?

2. If the above is not possible, what alternatives do I have?

Your input is much appreciated,

M
