Hi.
One of my clients have a business requirement that the employees should be able to submit a travelrequest prior to their hiring date.
E.g. an employee has hiring date 1st of February 2012, and a travel clerk wants to create a travel request for the employee. Today the system reaction gives the following error message:
There is no HR master record 0001 for 00711800 on 23.01.2012
Message no. FITP700
Diagnosis
For personnel number 00711800 there is no master record 0001 for 23.01.2012. It is, however, a prerequisite for correct planning of a business trip.
Procedure
In personnel administration, create for personnel number 00711800 a master record 0001 for 23.01.2012.
If you do not have the necessary authorization to make changes, contact your system administration.
Is there any customising that can work around this problem? It is only a problem for travel requests, and all travel requests will be entered with header dates within the employee's validity dates.
Thank you
Best regards
Odd Reidar
Hi,
actually you cannot do so unless you modify the date of infotype personal data, or create a new personnel number dated prior to the trip. Te person must be in the system before the travel.

Hi, Marssel.
The employee number is already registered in the system, but it is not possible to do anything until system date is past start date in infotype 0001 and infotype 0017.
With all the info in the respective infotypes, it should be possible to record a new travel request. Does anyone have a clue why SAP has this restriction?
You can't post before Personal Records Start Date (BEGDA).
