BACKGROUND: The customer want to show key and text only on leaf nodes (3. level) of a hierarchy in a Bex Query. This is possible after a report is run, as you there have two settings one on general and one on hierarchy.
But if you set text and key on display in query designer all nodes in the hierarchy has key and tex.
I did some investigation, and got a tips on using SET PRESENTATION in web application designer on the template.
QUESTION: Anybody know the right parameters to set to achieve this on a hierarchy?
I have not used SET PRESENTATION, but an alternate solution is to use a view as the datasource instead of the query. Run the query and set the display as needed. Then save it as a view. Use this in WAD as your dataprovider.
