Hello,
we try do to some after import checks to ensure at least the syntactical correctness of a complete application defined by a dedicated dev. class/package. Yes, you're right. Quality should be asured by the process itself. But at this time in the project some things can't be changed, sorry.
My second idea was to use the transaction SGEN to regenerate all relevant objects. But there is no way to select a dev. class/package to specify the relevant objects. It is also not possible to specify the relevant software component "HOME". Neither "HOME" nor "LOCAL" are provided in the list of possible components.
My first idea was to use SLIN. But I don't know how to specify a dev. class/package either. And this way will also result in to much error messages because the development is not as "clean" as it should be.
So here are my questions:
1. How can I use SGEN to generate a dedicated dev. class/package?
2. Are there other options (like SLIN) to do some first checks after importing?
Thanks,
Volker.
