Complete deliveries

Hi all,

In my sales order I've selected that partial deliveries are not allowed - only complete deliveries.

I've created a sales order for 100 Pallets of material A.

For some reason when I select my delivery however, it is always giving a delivery qty = 1.740 pallets. When I check MMBE, we have more than enough stock to cover 100 pallets. I've tried changing the selection date but it is still the same.

What is the reason for this?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am little doubtful on the system behavior in your case. In SAP std if go for the complete delivery then the sysetm checks whether there will be sufficient stock for complete delivery at a later date:

If there is sufficient stock available at a later date to cover the required quantity in the sales document, the system proposes the date here.

If the system determines that complete delivery cannot be made at a later date, no date is proposed in this section.

When availability is checked including replenishment lead time, the date which is proposed in this section is the date on which the replenishment lead time period ends if the stock before the end of replenishment lead time does not cover the order quantity.

When availability is checked excluding replenishment lead time, the system bases its calculations on the stock and the planned inward movements of stock.

Hope this will help you.

stock might have been reserved for other orders.

Check MD04- u can find the orders for which stock is confirmed.

suresh,

I've checked the availability overview and there is stock confirmed for other orders. However I checked these orders and the 'fixed date and quantity' checkbox is not checked - and therefore I thought my new order can take it's stock.

For example:

-30000 cases are in stock

-Currently, 29000 cases are confirmed for order 100. 'Fixed date and quantity' is not checked

-I create a new order with 5000 cases. Since the 'fixed date and qty' is not checked for the above, I could take it's 'confirmed' stock. Order 100 will then have to reconfirm a new date

Is this how it works? Or am I misunderstanding?

Thanks
