Hi,
We have changed our payroll areas over the years (some that were used in the past are now not used nor maintained) and every year we have to make payments to Retirees in these old payroll areas.
We normally advance the obsolete payroll area (release, then exit) until it is at a current date, then make the payment.
This year it is not working. It returns the error that the "payroll area is not relevant for payroll".
Do you have any suggestions on how to best handle this? Should we just move them to a relevant payroll area or do I need to maintain the configuration for the non relevant areas for these annual payments?
