Solman architecture and landscape for Service Desk & CHARM

Former Member

Hi expert

For scenario with Service Desk,CHARM, SAP recommand to implement a productive solution manger and a "development" solution manager (dev & test system).

But is this means that each SolMan must have is own landscape ?

My current SAP Netweaver (ABAP) landscape is composed by PROD, QA, DEV and a sandbox out of the landscape.

Thanks for your answers

Eric

Hi

Yes it is and not only 2 tier but 3 tier for solman system

DEV QA and PRD

simply because if you are going for Service desk and charm it is heavy configuration so you need to check before going for upgrade etc while doing any enhancement etc for the above functionalities

moreover...it is better because you can provide training easily in QA system for ticket creation etc

hope it helps
