BW Transport Order Issue

Hi Experts,

I made some modifications on a BW flow, and i registred all my modifications in the same Transport Order.

In SE10, when i see the composition of the TO, it contains:

DTP Modifications,

Transformations Modifications,

Routine Modifications.

I want to separate the objects above in different Transport Orders.

How can i do please?

What is the best pratice?

Hi,

First of all you will have to unlock the current transport request through SE03, once you unlock all the underlying objects create another two new TR's.

Open these TR's in change mode in SE09, directly copy the objects from earlier TR into new TR one by one. Once you copy them in new TR delete the object from old TR and manually lock it in current TR from tool bar. In the same fashion you can move all your objects from old TR to new TR.

Finally lock all the remaining objects from older TR, you can select multiple objects at the same time.

Hi,

You will first need to unlock the objects from the current transport request using SE03 transaction and providing the transport number to be unlocked. After unlocking the transport request just delete all the underlying tasks and transport requests.

Then manually collect the objects to be transported from the BI Admin Workbench that is RSA1->Transport connection in a new transport and collect different objects in different TRs. However you will just need to check the sequence of the transport so that all the dependent objects are transported after the master object.
