Uploading of vendor opening bal through DTW A/P invoice template

Dear all,

I have to upload the opening balances of vendor through DTW template,while doing so,

it is displaying the error as posting date not in the range.I defined the posting periods for that date range but even after that it is saying the same error.

Can any body tell me the solution for that

If u look at the second row...........31032011 .i have defined even the posting period.

But still it gives the error...date deviates from the permissible range.object defined error 65171.

Kindly suggest me to solve this issue.

hi,

make sure that your Posting Period status is "Unlock" this error occurs when your posting Period has the ff. Posting Period status

1. Locked

2. Closing Period (this will depend if the user has authorization in posting for closing period status)

to check Posting period status goto Administration -->> System Initialization -->> Posting Period

Whenever you change in SAP you should restart DTW .
