Error during Livecache / MaxDB Installation

Former Member

We are installing SCM 4.1/Oracle/AIX 5.1L. I have completed the WAS part but having issues during livecache installation. Ideally it should be very clean and simple but that nti the case.

During MaxDB database installation for SCM 4.1 Livecache, the installation aborts with the following errors in different log files.

I have attched the logs for further information. Any help will be appreciated.

By the way, I dis not see the first data volume not mapped to the AIX file system. It should have been taken care off by installation. Last time I link that, I got a bad format error. I reinstalled again and I am back to square one.

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Sanjoy.

Hi,

for a liveCache issue, I'd like you to create an OSS message on queue BC-DB-LVC.

According to the logs provided, I'd say there wasn't enough room available to create the first Data Volume at '/sapdb/DC1/sapdata/DISKD0001. Did you check if enough space was available there?

Kind regards,

Roland
