System always Proposes Purchase unit which you assigned in PO while doing GR.

1Kg = 4M, Then While doing GR, it should reflect 400M provided if your Pur. ord unit is M or 100 Kg.

Hi, Maintain "Order Unit" in Purchasing view along with proper conversion factor in your Material Master to book the GRN in alternative unit.

What is the conversion ratio that is shown in PO?

In Po 1kg : 6m

In material master 1 kg : 3m

In info record 1kg : 6m

Is this one effected in MIGO

can it be that someone change the conversion ratio in material master after the info record and PO was created.

Check the change history of your material master .

Hi,

Since your base unit of measurement is M for the material, while doing GR the value will be coming as M even if you have maintained the ordering unit as KG in PO.

If you want to have the stock in KG, then maintain it as the base unit of mesurement and mainatain the conversion factotrs for M like 4M = 1 KG for the material.

In Inventory Management, the base unit of measure is the same as the stockkeeping unit.
