HU managed storage location

Hello,

I need some help in understanding the advantage of maintaining HU managed storage location vs. non HU managed storage location.

Can some one help me understand the pros and cons of the same .

If we use Handling units in the delivery while using non HU managed storage location what is the functionality of HUM not being utilized.

If you want to track Barcode scanning while receipting and issueing you can use HU managed location and you can track entire history of the handling unit in SAP.If you do not manage HU location then tracking seems to be difficult.This is for your idea and many things we need to consider before activationg the HU managed location.
