EREC - Candiates profile --- Can EDIT but dont want

Hello,

We are able to edit candiates profile , such as Communication data as well as Preferences. We dont that anybody can EDIT their Communication BASIC data. is there a workaround or I might need to code something for ERC_C_CAND_OVERVIEW_UI or may be do a Component Configuration.

Please advice.

NOTE: Candiates should be able to edit their own profile/data.

Hello Khan,

You can delete following authorization in the recruiter role:

object: P_RCF_POOL

field name: RCF_POOL

activity: CAND_MAINT

If you deselect that value, the recruiter would only get the candidate profile display and won't be allowed to edit there anything.

Thanks Nicole. I have made that change long ago but it is not working. This is probably I have bunch of other E-rec roles on my profile. Let me run SUIM and see if that object is still on my profile.

Object P_RCF_POOL -Direct Access to Talent Pool

Field name RCF_POOL

Un-check--CAN_MAINT -- Maintenance of Candidate Data

Check --DIRECT_ACC- Status-Independent Access to Candidates

Check-DUPL_CHECK-- Recognition of Multiple Applicants
