Thanks for your patience, Its a green message, but while running CK24 also getting message where as i should get a message like summary, price of 1 material updated material and also price change document posted which i am not getting but price is getting updated in the material master,,Also can you please explain me how planned price 1 , planned price 2 , planned price 3 works do we need to chnage the valuation stragey to planned price 1, planned price 2 like that or how does it work, i tried to run the cost estimate with a fiture planned price 2 and future date in ck11n, but ots picking up only plnned price 1, i changed the valuation variant to strategy planned 2 as second sequence stioll its not picking up.
Planned price 1, 2 and 3 these are text fields. It is only used for CO Module.It can be used for Material determination.Normally for ROH it need to determine Moving average price. But some time the business want their own standards. In that case u can use planned price 1,2, AND 3. Some time they want different standared, normally standard variant PPC1, once you relase cost estimate it update in the standared price in material master.Some time the business also need different purpose to update in Tax price 1,2, and 3 etc.
Plan price field in material master can be used for any purpose. These are not used by standard system anywhere and so there will be no impact in other fields.
The system picks the price as per the strategy assigned in valuation variant. In your case you have given the plan price 2 as 2nd strategy. If your first strategy is plan price 1 and system gets the price there then it will not go to the 2nd strategy. Please check if you have a price for plan price 1.
Plan price is given first preference and also plan price is given in material master, while runningg ck11 getting message ck419, and while releasing in ck24 getting ck714, and price is getting updated in costing tab 2 of material master, i found nothing in opr4_ck. please help
One more question , can we execute ck24 with 2 variants like ppc1 and ppc2 in the same period , i know we can have differnt valuation strategies for differnt plants, and also let meknow how we get the variant in ck24 , i have configured a new variant but i don't see it in ck24 , where to make configuaration so that i can see it in ck24.
If you enter plan price 1 as first strategy and then plan price 2 then system will look for plan price 1 first. If there is no amount then system will go to plan price 2. The messages you are saying are information messages. As there are no error messages you are able to mark and release the cost.
You cannot use two costing variant in one month. When you mark the current month with a costing variant system will update the cost with that variant only. With the other variant you can only run CK11N and not CK24. However you can use other variants which do not update standard cost. If the costing variant updates the cost in other prices then you may run the CK24 to update the price in another field say plan price 3 or tax price and so on.
Thank you, it was very helpful answer, but i am not able to see other variants in ck24 drill down , which are configured in okkn , ppc2, ppc2, ppc3, zpc2, zpc3, whiich are confured for plan orders, actual orders and some other variants which are configured , i am not able to see them in the drill down , hhow can these varinats be seen in the drill down of ck24 varint selection.
