Web Page Composer - Access denied

Former Member

Hello experts,

I created a Web-Site in WPC and want to edit it. But I get the following access-denied-errors.

#1#com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Access is denied: docs

and

Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/com.sap.nw.wpc/wpc/no_safety/com.sap.nw.wpc.runtime/components/default)

Any idea?

Hi DH,

It looks like a security zone settings. The path is System Administration > Permissions > Portal Permissions > Security Zones. Check what is set there. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Duncan

Dear DH

Please check the SAP Note 1635419 - Access Denied Exception for Web Page Resources for the issue.

As per SAP notes, you can to check following things :-

Navigate to System Administration -> Permissions -> Portal Permissions

Navigate to Portal Content -> Web Page Composer

Select 'Open Permissions' from the context menu of the 'Web Page Composer' folder

Ensure that all users who create or display WPC content (eg. the 'Everyone' Group) have the 'End User' checkbox selected

Select 'Reset Child Permissions' and save changes

Navigate to Security Zones -> com.sap.nw.wpc -> wpc -> no_safety

Select 'Open Permissions' from the context menu of the 'no_safety' folder

Ensure that the end users who require access to the WPC resources (eg. the 'Everyone' Group) have the 'End User' checkbox selected

Select 'Reset Child Permissions' and save changes

Hope it will helps

Best Regards
