Hello - I am following Manish Argawal's tutorial Beginners Guide to implementing XI. Any way when I try to set up my RFC destination on the XI box for the dev box using sm59 I keep getting the following error. Can anyone tell me what the problem is ?

Hi,
If you're trying to set an RFC on the XI box
I assume that you're trying to set it to send idocs
so... no better place than an XI SDN weblog by Ravikumar Allampallam:
Configuration steps required for posting idoc's(XI)
/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/02/23/configuration-steps-required-for-posting-idocsxi
point 2 describes how to set RFC dest (sm59) to R3

Hi Andrew,
Check your "services" file on your XI-host.
Add lines like this:
sapgwXX 33XX/tcp
Were XX goes from 00 to 99.
sapgw00 3300/tcp
sapgw01 3301/tcp
....
....
sapgw99 3399/tcp
regards
Rolf
