ESS photo NOT displaying in IE 8.0

Hello,

Our portal is https enabled. Now the ESS photo under "Change Own Data" is generated as http url.

Now when we are trying to open the photo from IE 7.0 and IE 6.0, the photo is displaying fine in all systems.

But when we are trying to open the same in IE 8.0, its NOT opening. An outer box with a red cross mark is displaying.

Though as per the PAM, IE 8.0 is supported, but photo is NOT displaying in IE 8.0. I have checked in multiple systems having IE 8.0 but in none of the system its working.

Ours is EP 7.01 SP 06.
