ODS update to another ODS

Hi,

I have ODS Object(A) with 0DATEFROM and 0DATETO fields as data fields. When I load data from ODS A to ODS B, In the InfoPackage selection in update tap it has Time-dependant data box. As I want to do full update, It is taking based on time interval. Is there anyway that I ignore the time intervals.

Thanks in advance.

Ram

Hi,

i kind of have the same problem.

I have made my own non-BC InfoPackage for a non-standard table in SAP R/3. this table contains time dependant data that i wish to upload to SAP BW with this dependancy.

I have created an InfoPackage for it which has the time dependancy fields. When i fill in the dates 01.01.1000 as the from date and 31.12.9999 as the to date i get no data. When i fill in the from and to date of a specific record in the source table i get only that record (and all the other records that match the exact criteria).

I tried to leave the fields blank but they're mandatory so that didn't work either. I can't seem to find a way to fill in a range for both fields (date to 01.01.1000 -> 31.12.9999 and date from 01.01.1000 -> 31.12.9999).

thanks in advance...

I am not sure why you are seeing the time intervals. Even if you see default them to 1900/01/01 to 9999/12/31. Then you will pick all the records.

Hi,

If I give the default values it is matching with only the dates which is matching with these values. I am not sure how we give the specific range if values. If anyone had similar problem let us know.

Thanks for your help.

Try giving the range 01.01.1000 to 31.12.9999 for both 0DATEFROM and 0DATETO.

I have an ODS which has 0DATEFROM and 0DATETO. But when I created an export datasource for this ODS, do not see this 'time-dependent' data box in the update tab.

You should see the selection options for these two fields in the Data Selection tab. If you leave them blank, it should pick up all the records.

If your scenario is different, please let me know.
