data transfer between cubes

Hi together,

Is there any possibility to transfer data which are not rolled up to a second cube?

I want to transfer some data from one cube to an other cube. (On both cubes are a few aggregates.) Therefore I've created a DTP (Full Load, the flag 'use aggregate' is not set).

Case 1: (I would prefer this variant)

When I try to run the DTP and the flag 'available for reporting' is inactive, I get a new empty request in the second cube. The question is now: Why is this request empty?

Case 2:

When I rollup cube one, so that all aggregates are filled, the flag 'available for reporting' is active and I try to run the DTP again, the second cube was filled successfully.

Hi Alex,

If we are using aggregates in a cube, roll up of cube should be done. Otherwise the data loaded will not be available for reporting.

I think if you switch off the aggregates in Cube one, the data which are not rolled up could be loaded to Cube two.

Sure, when I delete the aggregate, the requests will automatically set to 'available for reporting'. Then it is possible to transfer these requests into a few other cubes...

But I mean there should be a difference between reporting and data staging. I need no aggregate to put my data from one to an other cube. But, I can use the aggregates to improve the performance. For this, there is the option 'use aggregates' in the DTP. And when we have a look to the F1 help of this checkbox, then we see the following statement: u201CIf you set this flag, an extra selection condition limits extraction to the requests rolled up to the aggregatesu201D (Source: SAP F1 Help)

When this option defines a selection condition on request numbers, I would expect that there must be a way to transfer all data with the QM status successful...

Hi,

I think due to the consistency reasons, if there are any aggregates or BIA indexes on particular infocube and you want to transfer some request from this cube to another data target then it will fetch data from all those requests for which the status is "Available for reporting" only.

All other loaded request data will not be extracted, unless the request status changes to available for reporting.
