Failure: header organizational data is inherited to the item level.

Hi Team,

we use ERP and CRM for Sales.

We set up the devision for the Products and make the relation in tko the distribution and devision, but still there is missing a link.

We test the setting in SD (ERP) and the customer and the product are working ok. But when we set up a order in CRM we receive the following mentioned info:

Header line:

- Sales org. unit does not have these attributes

- Division 5H does not exist

Item line:

- If the organizational data profile has been assigned to an item category, the header organizational data is inherited to the item level.

- The system did not find any organizational units.

But wehn we look into the item and check organization the Division 5H is set ...

What do we miss - do you have any ideas? Really we are happy for some infos, because we struggle a lot.

Define Division 5H in the customize settings

Check your org. structure. Your sales organization not have Division as parameter.

thank you for your reply.

The orgmodel with divion etc. was set up for ages.

Some dayes before they make in R/3 changes to distribute a product with division. We in CRM had maintainted the new division 5H (wit replication R3AS) and in the next step we have set up the combination of distribution channel and division with customizing. We checked the customzing table and could not find any other entries which we must done.

=> the division will be found in the order but the failure message said the combination is not determind, I miss the link.

We not sure if still some replication table must be in CRM uploaded (like we have done for the division).

When in the R/3 the product hierachy will be changed ist there a upload which must be set up in CRM? For times ago I have heard from this, dis you know about?

Did you maintain the distribution channel and division ( tupel ) in org model for org unit of your sale org in attributes tab ?

Yes, I maintained the distribution channel and division (tupel) in customizing table.

Org model for org unit of your sale org in attributes tab ? TheOrg modell is specified for sales but not specified for sales Organisation or sales office (Org modell tab attributes). Because it is running for long times without specifieng the office etc. and it should not make a matter, because it was set up for sales but not specified for a specific area.

Do we have a table to amtch Sales Org + Division + Sales channel ? Se16 or customizing? -because in R/3 they have match these entries in the customzing table but I could not find them in spro.

Any ideas?

Ciao Denis,

thank you so much; is this report for the changes in ERP Attributes of the Org Model to start an initial download into CRM? I do not know these report.

we found one setting "kontierungsgruppe Product" which was set in the material and customized in R/3 and now I have as well enter this customizing object for CRM.

But the material was changed yesterday and we have now a differnce of this missing object in the product CRM. In R/3 the "kontierungs object" was entered but in CRM not, because yesterday it was not available (in customizing).

Do you know the transaction or name of the report or generation of the data upload from R/3 to CRM after changeing the master data (product in R/3)?

Also check wrong BDOCs in Tcode smw01 for yesterday.

Hi Ann,

I was able to simulate the issue mentioned by you in my system. As i told in my last post to solve this issue you need to maintain the newly added division '5H' as attribute of Sale org in PPOMA_CRM. firstly search for your org unit ( Sales org of order ) in PPOMA_CRM and then go to attributes tab. there you will see list of attributes. maintain the division as 5H and save it. now you can use the report HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE to refresh the buffer. once done try to create in CRM and it should work !

sorry, I want to give you more points but through a misstake I cannot give again the correct points... will try again.

OK, I go into TA PPOMA_CRM and find the correct Sales Area (seems right).

But like I said yesterday, I open the tab attributes and no attributes are filled.

I do not know why, but the sales process works without these attributes.

I explain my steps: go into PPOMA_CRM serach for sales org (used in our process). Open it, double klick on the sales org, the org will be shown in the work area and klick on the tab attributes. tab attributes are empty.

Do I may I make something wrong?

We use R/3 which means the org modell from ECC is relevant.

after change some settings we receive less failure but still, the mainor failure is: organizational model do not correspond with the data (sales organization, distribution channel, sales office, sales group, on the item level: division) in this transation.

Hi Ann,

Did you choose the "Attribute Maintenance Scenario" as SALE ? you need to choose that and list of attributes will be displayed. also press Consistency button and it should be green.

Dear Sudhir,

wau, perfect found it - and yes, it is now the button I need!

next I can close it - have only the one last question, we have 10 division and I want to add a new one without deleting the others. when i use the little icon on the left side replace the the last will open and with the + button i get a new line and can enter the new division but than I can not see all other division anymore and I am afraid to save otherwise I will los probably all other.

Can you help me which button is correct to add instead to delete the other division entries ...

Hi Ann,

If inherited flag is ticket than attributes are assigned at parent org unit. here is what you need to do. open your org unit. double click on it. and then press the 'one level up' button on the top ( 9th button on top right section ) where org data is displayed. keep on pressing till you reach the parent level. there you will all the attributes maintained without inherited tab and there you will get the + button on division attribute. just click and add as many as you want. once done save it !!

just run this report. it simply refresh the data in memory so that fresh data is uploaded. nothing else. once report is executed you can try to create the order and hopefully you it will be fine !
