Defaulting of a product in quotation at line item

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement that ,when i create a quotation a particular product should always get added up at line item 10 by default.

Its required so that the user doesnot have to enter the Product.

Is there any way we can default the same product as soon as the qutation creation transaction is openend up for creating a new quotation.

create item proposal in VA51 with the product to be defaulted.

assign this item proposal number in customer master -sales area data-sales tab-item proposal field

Apart from item Proposal, where you need to create a sales doc and manually propose(CTRL+F11) them in sales order.

You can use Dynamic Product Proposal.

in IMG, follow following path for configuration:

SPRO - SD - Basic Functions - Dynamic Product Proposal

You might need to activate "Default product proposal" field in Slod-to Party customer master - Sales data - Sales Tab.

With this system will automatically propose a list of products for a specific customer during sales document processing. This really entry help and an aid to sales team, b'coz in some industry the ordering partten don't change for some specific customer. So, this will display/propose list of material as soon as you enter the customer in allowing sales doc type.

    Regards

one more point-- This defaulting of product inside a quotation creation is not applicable for only one customer.

Its a general scenario for all the customers.
