I am wondering what the best practice is for placing my prompt variables. I understand there might be additional considerations, but let me try to use this as an example:
Fiscal Period (Mandatory, Multiple Selection)
Cost Center (Optional, Multiple Selection)
Material (Hard Filter = "Chair")
Could someone explain where I should place these and why they belong there? I've heard things like you cannot have Mandatory Prompts in a BEx Query if you are building a Webi Report on top of it. I am interested in how the prompts behave at each level and interact with one another. I am using Webi XI and BEx 7.0.
