Issue in MDM_CLNT_EXTR

Hi Experts,

I am doing MAster Data Extraction, i have done with major works in R3 Side, but i am facing as issue while distributing the Mode,

Before that i brief the things what i have done,

1) ALE Configuration in ERP R3 System

2) Created a New Logical System for Receiver PI System

3) Created the Logical System for Sender R3 System & Assigning the Client

4) Configured of RFC Destination Pointing to PI System

5) Configured of Communication Port

6) Configurated of Partner Profile

7) Created ALE distribution Model/Customer Distribution Model

After creation of the Model i ahve added the Message type. Then Partner Profile needs to be generated and the Distribution model needs to be distributed from the Edit Menu.

But while doing the above step i am facing a issue as " No Messages have been defined for the selection conditions in the model".

Please do needful.

Hi,

The error seems to say that you have not defined your message type correctly in the distribution model.

Also Have you added MDMRECIEPT as a message type in the model? It is needed for MDM_CLNT_EXTR to run properly because earlier versions use it.

Also can you let us know which master data object you are trying to extract ie: material, vendor etc?

I am Trying to Extract Material, as you told already i have added MDMRECEIPT and MATMAS as message types.

After creation of the Model & adding of the Message types, while generating the partner profile i am facing this issue.

Also make sure that the LS identifier you're using is actually assigned to the client you expect (SCC4 transaction let's you look at the clients and their assigned LS identifiers)

Yes using Tcode SCC4 i haver assigned the LS system to the Client( ie my Ls system is R3_TEST for R3, i assigned that LS system to 800 client).

Hi,

Please make sure that

1. The RFC destination has exactly the same name as the LS for Reciever since it is case sensitive.

2. You have given correct logical sytem name in sender and receiver in the model view.

If all the names are specified correctly, client is assigned properly, message types are added in model then there should be no reason why partner profiles are not generated.

Please revert with findings/ solutions

What are the message type you have selected in the Distribution Model

For customer Master, CREMDM, DEBMDM, MATMDM not CREMAS.

Hi,

I am doing only Material so i have selected the message type MATMAS n MDMRECEIPT.

Now Parnter profile hasbeen Generated and its displaying message " Partner, Port and Outb.Parameters".

When i try to distribute its showing an error message as " Target system: Model View has not been updated

Reason: No Authorization to create Model View

authorization object B_ALE_MODL

Parameter: activity 01, model View.. "

This is the message i am getting.

Please help me

Check in BD64,

if your distribution model is correctly maintained or not.

also check we20 your partner profile

In BD64 only iam facing this issue.

Partner profile configure correctly, or tell me what i have to check exactly in Partner profile.

Have you generated the Details or have made the changes manually,

With Automatic generation sometime we face this problem.

Its best to do it manually, since you know the details and have information available to your disposal.

In BD64, make a Distrubution Model manually, and try

Please can you explain how to do it by manually?

Actually to generate the partner profile i have done first , added message types and gone to Environment -> Generate partner Profiles".

It's got generated, and gone to EDIT -> Model View -> Distribute.

Here only i am facing this issue.

Hello,

Go in Tx-WE20, there create a Logical system of type LS, using the same name as the RFC destination.

In that you mention the Inbound and outbound message type for each message you wanna distribute.

In BD64, what is the error that you are getting.
