RENEW category default in contract

Hello Guru:

When I create contract , I have to go to the TERM Tab and click INSERT TERM 'Renew' every time.

1. can we set the system that RENEW category show up in contract immediately like TERM and NOTICE category.

2. can we set default RENEW Rule to be as we needed.

you can use BAdI BADI_RECN_CONTRACT and method SUBSTITUTE to default a renewal rule.

Further more, the category "RENEW" cannot see from the first time like "TERM" and "Notice".

can we make it show up at the first time as well.

Hi,

please try out if implementation of BADI_RECN_CONTRACT, method SUBSTITUTE and inserting the renewal rule for event I (initialization) helps to show the category RENEW also when creating the contract.
