Settlement to fixed asset

Hi everyone,

1. When settling the WBS element to fixed asset user wants to do the line item settlement. Please let me know the process of line item settlement.

2. Also he want to block the WBS element once final settlement of the respective WBSE is done as he dont want to set the TECO

status . Can it be done by locking the WBS element?

Please help me with this.

Hello Chandan,

If you already have the settings to perform line item settings @ spro, then go ahead and perform the settlement, the system would respond as its configured. you can perform the settlement for project or WBS line item wise. TECO ideally doesnt affect the process of settlement and its not mandatory also before settlement.

But, you can lock your WBS post your final settlment for any other settlement, I would suggest if you done with your final settlement and if your WBS have zero, and not required for further postings, go for closure. you can revert the status later if you wish. Or rstrict the settlement period to that perticular WBS so that, when perform the next settlment the system should not consider the previous rules.

At OAOA select your asset class and select line item settlement radio button

Hi,

When you done the setting in OAOA by checking the radio button line item settlement then system automatically do that when you are executing the settlement for your WBS / Project. System will write the line items and you can view them in your reports.
