Hi,
I have done a new installation and have set up the system to use email as a destination.
If i run a report in Crystal reports 2011 format the mail is sent to me with the report.
If i try to send it as an PDF or Word format the message is that i dont have the right to download the file.

Your request was refused because you do not have the right 'Download' on report 'e706db1756c3b5.rpt'. Please ask your system administrator to grant you this right.

Looking into the Output folder i only see the files related to the Crystal report 2011 format but none fore PDF or Word.
I have read a ton of info telling it is SMTP setup but this is not the issue due to the fact Crystal format is sent by mail.
Also rights on the folder seems to be OK.
Somehow i am missing a thing to make this work.
Any pointers or info would be nice.
Cheers Henry

Henry,
did you ever get a solution to this? I am having the same issue and am stuck. Kind of a Crystal newbie so not sure where to look. Thx

Hi Daniel,
As a test, have you tried checking the permissions on the user or explicitly granting the following permission:
1. In the Crystal Management Console (CMC), navigate to the folder or report object you wish to modify and click the 'Rights' tab.
2. From the drop-down list next to the user account or group account to whom you want to assign rights, select 'Advanced'.
3. In the list of advanced rights, activate the Explicitly Granted column next to the 'Download files associated with the report' right.
4. Click 'OK' or 'Apply'.
Regards,
Wallie
Hello Henry,
Get the Document properties for the published report and see if the "Enable Download" checkbox is checked off.

Arjun
