Archiving

Hi all,

I am evaluating the archiving of a customer database. I am running a simulation and get a certain amount of nonremovable clusters. I know a cluster is a group of related transactions, for example a Quote that 'end its life' in an incoming payment. These clusters contain somewhere from 2 to 23 transactions... but one of these contains 76,340 transactions ! I don't get how come these transactions can be related together in a single business process.

This huge cluster is made of a lot of A/R Invoices, some of them related to Opening Balances and some not. To me it looks like these transactions should not be grouped in a single cluster because they are not related, unless I am missing something.

Does someone has an explanation for this strange cluster ?

Thanks
